Usher Ministry

usher (1).png

The purpose of this ministry is for its members to be a warm and friendly, “doorkeeper in the house of the Lord.” As individuals enter the doors of the church, the ushers lead them into the presence of the almighty God and into an atmosphere of worship. They tend to the needs of the congregation by making each individual feel welcome, comfortable and ready for worship.

The goal of this Ministry is to keep a normal, quiet flow to the worship service as they participate in receiving the offering, the seating of the people, handing out the bulletins, responding to crisis and other duties assigned to ushers.
